A&K Mk43 NOD 0 M60
If i could use one word to some up a review of this gun i would say AWESOME, with the clever use of alloys though out the full working of gun "in fact nearly all the gun is made of alloy" its makes the AEG very easy to use and handle and easy to shoulder, to be honest we found that we could use it as a standard AEG, upon testing we found the gun had an impressive FPS of 385. I used a 9.6 mini battery to test the gun and i was impressed the use of a metal hop unit and PGC style gearbox makes spring swops easy (not covered under warranty if springs are changed from those fitted).
We get the impression that A&K have taken all the best bits from there M249 range and then updated it and put it into this gun. The sights we also liked as they are fully adjustable for windage and elevation and the box mag is nice and cleaver with 3 switch positions for Off, auto and continuous" continuous is the best option as the auto feeds the box mag on all the time. The only down side is like the M249 you could do with changing the hop nub as you almost need the hop full on as it is a little soft. This MK43 is one of the best support guns i have seen and will be hard to beat when you consider that some other guns on the market the same type cost more than double The MK43 has a VARIABLE RATE OF FIRE, using a variation of a mosfet and using the adjustment on the gas tube you can reduce/ speed up the rate of fire from approx 400 - 800 rpm or you can use the connector supplied to bypass it if you wish. The system makes the Mk43 perfect for the milsim where rounds are limited on box mags. * Tested ROF variable approx 400 - 800 rpm * Tested at 385 FPS +/- 5% with .2g BB's * Full metal body and bi-pod * Fully auto and safety * Length 940mm * weight 6050g * Easy strip * QD Spring change system * Battery and charger not included (9.6v Mini recommended) * 3500rd approx box mag included * Hop-up adjustable * This gun MUST use High Grade .2g or .25g BBs.

A&K M249 MK1 Support Gun
The original Mk1 version is possibly one of our favorites. It features a fixed skelton stock and houses the battery in the front grip. You wont see many of these on the skirmish field. The carry handle is fixed in position unlike the Mk2.
A&K M249 MK2 Support Gun
The Mk2 version is only a cosmetic difference and is nothing to do with airsoft performance. The full stock holds your battery (mini tamyia connector) and you have a longer barrel.
History: The M249 is an air-cooled, gas-operated, fully-automatic-only firearm that fires from an open bolt position. It can accept belts of linked 5.56 x 45 mm NATO ammunition through the top-mounted feed tray or M16-type magazines through the side-mounted port. The latter allows a SAW gunner to use riflemens' magazines in an emergency if he runs out of belted ammunition, though this often causes jams as the magazine spring cannot adequately keep up with the weapon's high rate of fire. Linked ammunition can be fed from either a loose belt or from a plastic box (or cloth pouch) for 200 rounds, clipped under the receiver. The M249 SAW features a built-in bipod and a tripod-mounting lug for supported fire, as well as a quick change barrel that helps prevent overheating during sustained fire. Barrels are engaged and disengaged by rotating the built-in handle, and a spare is normally carried slung in an "A-bag" by the gunner or his assistant. The forearm is designed to contain a small cleaning kit for field use.
A&K M249 Para Support Gun
The Para is short for Paratrooper, the thought that you could jump out of a plane with one of these is scary. But essentially means you have a collapsing stock and the battery is housed in the front grip.
